Farzaneh Kaboli is an Iranian dancer, a leader in the Iranian Folkloric and National Dance Art and actress in cinema and theater. She is also a master of choreography in Iranian theaters.Prior to the Islamic Revolution of 1979, she performed widely as a leading soloist with the National Dance Company both within Iran and internationally at many prestigious venues. Kaboli studied in the "Iranian National and Folkloric Dance Academy" for three years. The Academy had acquired some of the best dance instructors and choreographers in the world.
Hayedeh Ahmadzadeh, Robert de Warren and his wife Jacqueline from England were the primary instructors in that academy. The name of Farzaneh Kaboli has appeared in several articles, and books such as, "Salar Zanan-e Iran" (Iran's Pioneer Women) and "Avvalin Zanan" ( Pioneer Women) as the Iran's pioneer woman in the field of dance.
After the revolution, she continued her career by acting and choreographing in theater and cinema. Today she continues choregraphing and acting , as well as instructing movement classes for university students of theater.
